To gain experience working with animals students are required to complete clinical hours during each course they are enrolled in. All students must complete at least 20 hours in a clinic, shelter, humane organization, etc. The hands on can be done on large or small animals for this course, but each course may have its own requirements. The clinic does not need to be approved for this course and the hours can be completed as a volunteer, intern, or employee as long as you are working directly with the animals (cleaning, assisting, etc. not serving as a receptionist or clerical capacity). NO EXTENSIONS will be given for any reason so do not wait until the last minute to start or submit the clinical hours record sheet. Failure to complete and submit by the posted due date will result in failing the course. Students will not have access to the final exam and will fail the course. Completion of hours is a program requirement and is non-negotiable so please do not ask, Your email will be deleted and not responded to.
